Book a pickup, get weighed, get paid
The whole point of Trade2Cart is that you know the terms before anyone knocks on your door. Here is exactly what happens, for customers and for vendors.
For customers
Add your items to the cart
Open the app and pick what you want to sell. You see the rates for your own area before you book — no negotiating, no surprises. A rough quantity is fine; the exact weight is measured at pickup.
Choose a pickup slot
Confirm your address and pick a time that suits you. We assign a verified vendor who already works in your area, and you can track the status of your booking in the app.
Get weighed and paid on the spot
The vendor arrives at your door, weighs everything on a digital scale in front of you, and pays you immediately in cash or by UPI. Nothing to carry, nothing to chase.
What does it cost?
Trade2Cart is completely free for customers. You are paid the full amount quoted for your items — we never take a cut of what the vendor pays you.
How is the weight decided?
The vendor brings a digital scale and weighs everything at your door, in front of you. The total is calculated from that weight at the rates shown in the app.
When do I get paid?
Immediately, at the time of pickup — cash or UPI, whichever you prefer. Nothing is transferred later.
For vendors
Vendors join the network, get verified, and start receiving confirmed orders from their own area.
Register
Sign up on the vendor portal with your details and the areas you cover.
Get verified
Our team reviews and approves your profile before any orders are assigned.
Receive assigned orders
Confirmed pickups from your area appear in your Assigned Orders tab.
Complete and settle
Pay the customer at pickup, close the order with a bill, and settle platform commission from your dashboard.
Where Trade2Cart sits
Trade2Cart is a mediator between customers and vendors. We do not buy, sell, or collect scrap directly, and every payment happens directly between the customer and the vendor at the time of pickup.
That distinction matters in practice: the money never passes through us, so there is nothing to withhold and nothing to wait for. What we are responsible for is that the vendor at your door is verified, the rates you saw are the rates applied, and someone answers when you need support.
What we take responsibility for
- Verifying and approving every vendor before they receive orders
- Publishing rates by location so pricing is visible before booking
- Assigning each pickup to a vendor who covers your area
- Handling billing records and platform settlement
- Answering support requests within 24 hours

You can book with a rough estimate of what you have. Very small quantities may be combined with nearby pickups, so the vendor may propose a slot that works for both.
Orders are assigned to you based on your location and availability, and appear in the 'Assigned Orders' tab of your vendor dashboard. You are only assigned pickups in the areas you cover.
You pay the customer directly at pickup and keep the scrap. Trade2Cart charges a small per-order platform commission, which you settle from your vendor dashboard.
